Our Products
1. Knowledge-Based Expert System for Intelligent Extraction and Classification of Web-Based
and Other External Granulated Information, with Applications to Investment Data Analysis
and Decision-Making
In today's fast-paced world, timely and accurate decision making has become absolutely
critical for success and survival of any business venture. Having the right information
presented at the right time and in the right format, analyzing and acting on it is becoming
more and more challenging with ever growing flows of news, technical, legal, and financial data.
In many cases, decisions have to be made based on multitude of different pieces of information
available from various sources. Collecting, monitoring, analyzing disparate "pieces of a puzzle"
and combining them into analytical reports has become a full-time job for many analysts and
decision making assistants alike.
Our system performs all the necessary
groundwork and presents decision makers with a detailed view of current environment along with
recommended decisions and can be successfully utilized in
Financial, Retail, Insurance, Logistics, Investment, and other industries.
2. Expert Intelligent System for Adaptable Schedule-Based Monitoring, Analyzing, Aggregation and
Distribution of Availability, Usability and Performance Data on Externally Hosted Web-Based Assets
Today, many businesses rely on web-based assets to perform vital and essential business functions
such as sales transactions, advertising, marketing, promotions, surveys, loyalty programs, catalogues,
flyers, virtual meetings, disaster recovery, online collaboration, etc, etc.
Having those assets available and performing well at all times is a major concern for business leaders.
Usually, the web-based assets are hosted externally, offsite in a secure facility by a web hosting company
which normally guarantees a certain level of "uptime" (i.e. 99.999%).
However, their promise merely means that the physical server would be plugged-in, up and running but does not
cover proper functioning of the web-based asset (i.e. website). Moreover, if the web-based asset relies on a
third party service (for example, an external web service to track loyalty points or process credit card transactions),
any downtime caused by that external service unavailability would not be covered under the uptime service agreement
and would not be monitored or reported to the business owner resulting in potentially unknown, unreported and
unanticipated losses in sales, productivity and overall business function delivery.
Finally, the web-based asset performance, load and response times are also of great concern to the business
leaders and need to be monitored, recorded and reported in real time.
Our system performs 24/7 intelligent monitoring of web-based asset uptime, availability and performance
based on a complex and adaptable set of criteria in order to measure true uptime -
when systems work 100% of the time, 100% correctly and providing 100% satisfactory user experience.
We envision that such system can be successfully utilized in any industry and by any venture where
web-based assets play an important part in the overall business function delivery.
3. Distributed Enterprise System for Centralized Storage Capacity Management with
Emphasis on Policy-Based Information Asset Retention Control
In recent years, a number of trends have substantially re-shaped the landscape of the Information Systems Industry.
While workforce is becoming more and more mobile, geographically dispersed and otherwise less dependent on
central office facilities, bulky yet robust Personal Computers are gradually being replaced by smaller,
leaner mobile devices, laptops, smart phones, and tablet computers.
Widely accessible and accepted cellular internet with high bandwidths and improved security have facilitated
such changes to the order which made it common for applications to keep all of the information on the server
under assumption that the network is always available. Many systems are being designed to automatically deposit
data on a server, a cloud, an intranet or other storage facilities in one format or another.
Aside from all the types of information created, delivered or copied automatically by various operational,
transactional, monitoring, communication and surveillance systems, users do create, manage, upload and copy
files and folders on various shared drives and into shared workspaces. According to some public research sources,
enterprises currently experience annual information growth rates of up to 70%.
If uncontrolled, these automated information flows can easily overfill available storage capacity and result in errors,
delays and otherwise negatively affect the daily work of an enterprise. Moreover, policy-based information asset
retention management is not only important for balancing storage utilization but also vital for regulatory conformance.
Close monitoring of current available enterprise storage capacities along with design, implementation,
and enforcement of information asset retention policies have become an important concern and a day-to-day
responsibility of modern IT Administrators.
Not uncommonly, to implement such a policy, IT Administrators utilize local server scripting and often repeat
the same process for many servers and/or file folders. Such an approach works for very small number of
static information asset retention policies, but becomes tedious, cumbersome and error prone if it has
to cover many different retention policies over a number of servers or deal with major enterprise-wide
information asset retention policy changes.
With this project, we aim to develop a marketable solution that will help IT Administrators to develop,
implement, monitor and enforce enterprise-wide information asset retention policies as well as to oversee
enterprise server landscape while pointing out any potentially problematic areas.
We envision that such solution could be successfully utilized by any enterprise running data-intensive
operations in Financial, Retail, Insurance, Security, Investment, e-commerce, and other industries
as well as Government entities.
